We exist because:


30% of all global food production iswasted.

According to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) more than 1,3 billion tons of food is wasted each year worldwide. In Brazil, 2013 data show us that the country wasted 26,3 million tons of food on some stage of the production chain, that corresponds to 10% of the annual production.

More than 29 mil people die from hunger every day worldwide.

In Brazil, an average of 15 people die from malnutrition every day, according to the Ministry of Health. Data from The Brazilian Gross Domestic Product (2013) also say that 7,2 million people live in serious food insecurity condition in the country, while another 10,3 million have entered the moderate food insecurity category.

To change things we search for food where it is leftover and we take it where it is short.

Since 2016, we rescued food that would be thrown out by CEASAs, supermarkets and food industries; we cooked healthy and nutritious meals and distributed them for free to people who live in social vulnerability and food insecurity condition.
